Who we are
Pets and Passports is a small volunteer effort in Sarandë, Albania, working with Saranda Paws Vet Clinic. We are not a licensed shelter or a registered adoption agency — we’re a couple of people and a few volunteers who help stray animals and the people who want to travel with a pet. Please read everything here with that in mind.
Using the site
You’re welcome to read, share, and use this site for your own personal, lawful purposes. Please don’t misuse it — no attempting to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to it, and nothing illegal.
Our content
The words, photos, guides, and graphics on this site belong to Pets and Passports unless we say otherwise (some coastline photography is used under Creative Commons licenses, credited in the footer). Feel free to share links to our pages. Please don’t copy, resell, or republish our content or images as your own without asking us first.
Guides and consulting are educational
The downloadable guide and our 1:1 consulting are provided “as is” and are educational only. They share what we’ve learned rescuing animals and traveling with our own dog. They are not legal advice, not veterinary advice, and not a guarantee of any outcome.
Travel rules are set by governments, airlines, and border authorities, and they change without notice. We’ll always give you our best, most current understanding, but the final requirements — and the final decision at any border or gate — are never ours to control. Always confirm the current rules with the relevant authority before you travel, and consult a licensed vet for your animal’s health.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Pets and Passports is not liable for any loss, cost, or damage that results from using this site, our guides, or our consulting — including missed flights, rejected paperwork, or travel plans that don’t work out. You use our information and services at your own discretion and risk.
Links to other sites
We link to third parties we trust — Buy Me a Coffee for donations, our Shopify shop, and others. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or their policies. Once you leave our site, their terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Albania, where we’re based.
